My TV is
now available in countries across sub-Sahara Africa (excluding the Republic of
South Africa).
Subscribing is as simple as A, B, C.
| A |
Contact your local authorized My TV dealer. |
| B |
Once your system is installed with the dish pointing
towards Intelsat
20 (at 68.5°East), insert a brand new My TV smart card into your
receiver. Turn on the receiver, make sure it is tuned to a My TV channel and
within minutes a picture will appear. Your card is pre-enabled, in most cases,
for 5 days of free access to the service. Subscription options are 1, 3 or 12
months. |
| C |
Make sure you have a valid subscription to My TV (or
the service will stop). In some countries, this means contacting your
authorized My TV dealer who will collect the subscription charge. In Nigeria,
you can purchase a My TV Recharge Card and subscribe or renew by following a
simple set of instructions printed on the back of the Recharge Card. |
Please note that your existing satellite receiver MAY be upgradeable to receive
My TV. To find out, whether it is, ask
your local authorized dealer (click here to
check for a dealer near you)
or write to
tech@mytvafrica.tv with details on your existing satellite receiver
(make sure to include its Brand Name and Model Number).
